Well said! Many who claim they follow Jesus actually want nothing to do with Jesus. The reason there are more than 44,000 recognised 'Christian" Denominations (divisions) in the world today is just that, what most religious persons want is to be right. So they become hard-core biblicalists. In that case, their "faith" becomes a mental practice, not a heart/spirit practice. Because of this, I find it very helpful to acknowledge that Paul's writings, both the authentic and the pseudepigraphal, add very little to a heart that wants to follow Jesus. Jesus' actions are the pattern.
100% on point! I went from wanting to be an Episcopal priest until my married priest ran away with his married secretary. I searched for churches and denominations, but never found a fit. I lost my faith. I became an atheist is college (and a socialist). I explored Buddhism. It took me 30 years and I have returned to Jesus. But not to church (I recovered politically so much earlier). I am intensely spiritual. It was a slow journey. And many “Christians” have (and continue to) criticized me because I’m “not a real Christian because you don’t do _____…”
EKO, you’re so right. ANY relationship with a loving God should be welcomed. It sometimes comes in a thunder bolt. More often, like my journey, it takes a while of struggle and realization to come home to the Lord. Elon should be welcomed wholeheartedly into every Christian and spiritual community.
I concur 💯 with you as I share many points with your spiritual journey through your life !
I just had the chance to meet a Catholic priest at the time I was about to file for divorce, and this man of God who was surprised because he never has seen me in his church before, told me that my faith was a question exclusively between God and me !
He explained me the Church and all its priests and clergy were merely "points of contact" to help people to meet God if they need it ...
💒🕊️💕 I'm deeply grateful to God to have been guided to this excellent priest in His Name; I thank and bless God as well as this warmful priest ! 💕🕊️💒
How wonderful. About 15 years ago, my wife and I were on a business trip and were walking in El Paso, TX past a Catholic Church. We both were, strangely, moved to go inside. We were so warmly received and welcomed. We attended services that week daily. The priest’s message of the Love of God and Jesus was wonderful. He spent time with us, non-Catholics, chatting and asking about us and our beliefs, never concerned over our differences. He thought our spiritual journey delightful. I think lovingly of him and that church.
What a blessing you found that priest when you needed him. It must be a trend in the church that creates this acceptance of people like us. God’s blessings and peace.
The realization is like waking up to the truth - He has always been inside you - with you through this journey. When you finally wake up and say Thank You and turn yourself over to Him all the puzzle pieces fall into place.
Good point. Many Christian's behavior delayed me reading the Bible for a decade when I started to get curious two decades after abandoning the compromised Catholic Church.
Elon just took a giant step toward my heart. Agreeing becomes believing and receiving. And that is my prayer for my homeward bound soon to arrive brother!
wesley huff does a really good job of explaining academically, scientifically, without being preachy, pushy, or exclusive. interesting conversations on rogan and srs podcasts.
Utterly amazing! Things reflected back to me that I’ve known for years…but can see deeply inside me, inside the institution I rebelled against my entire life. Wow. Your work always leaves me in a better place. Thank you so much!
Please, someone who uses X, tell Elon that Jesus is not just someone in the past who spoke great words, but the Creator who exists NOW, has existed for eternity, and holds every atomic nucleus together (Colossians 1:17). If Elon actually would read, soak in and act on everything Jesus said, he wouldn't just be halfway there - he'd be among the world's most effective evangelists. Just think - skeptics might listen to him explaining why a nucleus doesn't fly apart where they wouldn't listen to us ordinary engineers saying the same thing.
Guilty of passing judgement as described here. It now occurs to me how hypocritical my thinking was. I am a teacher and often say teachers needs to remind themselves of their own twisty turny, start and stop and stumble journey. Same principle applies to someone and their faith, I now see.
Beautifully written. I hope Mr. Musk sees it.
Hello from France 🇫🇷, Jane !
🇫🇷🙏🏻🫂💕🕊️🇺🇲
It needs just one X user to send Elon the direct link to this post with benevolence and a welcoming attitude ...
I hope someone will do it ASAP, and that Elon could simply answer and thank EKO in any way he could choose!
I'd do it TRUMPist, but I don't do social media. And you can't because X is blocked in France, correct? Someone else will see this, I expect...

So would I do, Wild Bill !
But I'm like you and have nor use any social media account...
I don't even know if X is useable or censured/blocked in the 🇪🇺 European Union 🇪🇺 ! 🥴😊
Eko, what are your thoughts on Russell Brand? His love for Jesus seems sincere to me but I know many people disagree.

Thank you for your heartwarming testimony, which brings God even closer to our sinful lives! 🧡
And I thank you for your blessings and prayers which are mostly appreciated while I go through difficult times …

And we love you back, and there is nothing you can do about that. You are a jewel ❤️
And neither shall they say Lo Here! or Lo There!

Bravo.

Stunningly simple and exact 💯 🤗 Thank You for the reminder to remain true to Our God within. 🙏🌄
