Your thought experiment is transcendent. A jigsaw puzzle is but a bunch of disconnected pieces in a box, but lay them out and join them all together through a patient and coordinated effort (not as an undisciplined child aimlessly tossing pieces around) and something else eventuates. The once separate pieces form a unified picture. You didn't change the puzzle you merely organized the pieces the way they were always meant to be, and a greater story emerges out of the boxed chaos for those who have eyes to see.
The questions posed are more important than the answers. Always and ever, I must risk all that I am to my Father and His Son and the Holy Spirit in whom I live and breathe and have my being. Amen
I often reflect on how I think doing God's will is going to be drudgery and awful, but really a loving God's will is going to be good and life giving. If I can live out the commandments life is going to be better and I am going to be more serene. We keep making it harder than it has to be.
The Way has sought to show us His wisdom since the earliest years of humanity. The direction is inscribed on our hearts and not tablets of stone. In every iteration of true knowledge, some hearts recognized the Divine signature —truth. Here it is, go this way: the Roman Centurians' alms, the Samaritan woman at the well. It has been happening everywhere, all the time, across cultures and traditions. It is still happening now. Individuals' faith (heartfelt knowledge) guides and directs them. Now and forever. No ancient religion necessary. Thank you, EKO, for continuing to provoke new thoughts and ideas.
Not reordering the written word, but enduring in the written word. We are expected to examine these things to find life. I see we cant have either or law/covenant, one without the other always brings shame and calamity. Life is in the blood, breakup the fallow, re-seed
