Agreed. I wasn't born until 1955 but, I studied McCarthy very carefully. I believed his words even though not all of his actions. I think he got hijacked in his quest to reveal the true state of the state. Typical of the evil that continues to surround us today. Hiding in the shadows. Afraid of the light.
I also believe that GOD has great plans for this nation and the world. The evil will be shown for what it is and how it behaves. How we deal with it is our choice. I think we'll make the correct choice and push back evil for a bit. Until GOD removes the restrainer. All I know is I don't want to be here when that happens.

When Obama was "elected" in 2008, I made it a point to acquire a copy of Whittaker Chambers' autobiography of his life as a registered card-carrying member of the Communist Party.

But, these days it is very hard to get so many democrat voting people to even look at what they are really bringing into existence in this country. They haven't really looked at what every communist regime has done to its people and the amount of murder they all have done. "worker's paradise"? I think not.
I saw a picture of the young people who worked so hard to elect the communist slate in in New York City and State. Young, joyful people. You can tell by the smiles that they really, really believe they are doing what's best for themselves and their fellow citizens.

Those joyful young people in the picture I saw, celebrating the victory of their communist bosses and heroes have no clue. Everything they've been taught since they learned to understand human language has been focused on a degenerate hybrid of "individualized collectivism." You can be all you can be but you can't do it without us, your communist bosses and leaders.

Ann Coulter did a piece after the documents were unsealed and concluded, of course, that McCarthy was right. She always does great research.
Since then, whenever you point that out in a post or blog you get shouted down with claims of “Yeah, but he was nasty!” Or “Yeah, but they weren’t all communists!” Or “But they were mostly harmless!” Or “No, it’s all propaganda!”

After a quick search, I found the Venona Documents that were released, with numbers and dates running from 1-5. When I clicked on the numbers, the screen pops up saying Document not found. So, how hard do they want to make it for us to read the information?

Some leftists, when I was in "hi screwall" and in college at UWM never said a good word about him and some said they would go and piss on his grave on the anniversary of his death. (at least they said they did). Wisconsin was always said to have an honest government and elections. But I think it always harbored much darker secrets. Madison, Racine, Milwaukee and all the colleges and universities hired many "liberal" professors to enforce the "politically correct" point of view. I watched and listened and learned we were being gas lit and lied to.
