Leon Krier was a personal friend of mine. . . he was godfather of the New Urbanism movement, the still ongoing campaign to remedy the suburban fiasco in America. He was a great man and deserves more attention. His last book, "The Architecture of Community," explains it all beautifully.
Beautiful. I never thought of it this way. I’ve been to DC twice. I found myself speaking softly when on the Mall. As someone who loves history and the men who were our Founders, it really was an almost spiritual experience. Thank you.
While living in Virginia I was able to visit Washington, DC a few times. I love the Lincoln Memorial and the Reflecting Pool. One time visiting the Lincoln Memorial at night is one of my favorite times there. The Lincoln Memorial all lit up, and looking from it along the length of the Reflecting Pool on an absolutely beauful evening is still imprinted on my mind.

“If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
NEVER in America's 250 years has a sitting President done this. We have a rare President who, by God's grace has survived multiple attempts on his life, and has been chosen to lead the way for Americans straight back to "One Nation Under God."
Unfortunately, Trump has not kept some important campaign talk... America 1st , stay out of continuous wars etc. Worse yet is the bigly technocracy that's being rolled in speedily.
