I was nodding before I read your sentence about nodding. This whole series has been a refreshing balm in an awakening time. At the beginning of this month, I started my own study on the Holy Ghost. I figured October was a good time to focus on a holy one. He was called by that name more times than He was called the Holy Spirit. Growing up in fundamentalism, I have come to realize how much doctrines were emphasized over the actual teachings of Christ. Beginning this series was a struggle - it’s hard to accept that what has “always been” is not necessarily how it should be. Thank you for communicating so well and so passionately the love of God.
No book, no scripture contains the whole truth and only the truth. Every revelation is a child of its time and passes through the mind and beliefs of a human being, which in itself already implies a limitation of the “Truth” or a partial distortion of it.
Many people continue to cling to knowledge that they do not want to give up, and this reluctance becomes an obstacle to the Spirit of Truth. Faith in the process is required to overcome such reluctance. Faith is the cornerstone that the Spirit of Truth requires for building upon.
The Spirit of Truth is a spiritual, intelligent and communicative force. This force indicates the direction towards the Truth, towards the answers to your spiritual questions. It is like a spiritual compass pointing to the right direction, saying "follow this path and you will eventually find the answer that you seek". There is only One Divine Truth and it is uniform, universal and unchanging. The Spirit of Truth knows this Divine Truth because it is part of this Divine Truth. It is your understanding of this Truth that can evolve spiritually or that can be influenced, veiled and distorted.
To become proficient in using the Spirit of Truth requires practice. With sufficient practice your questions and answers will gradually become more spiritual. Be aware of selfish motives, for it is your motivation in everything you do that is monitored. Not the act itself. There are many problems for which you need good advice. Every difficulty that is overcome contains a seed of spiritual progress. Life is your greatest teacher.
Do not separate your worldly life from your spiritual experience. Bring the spiritual into the worldly so that the worldly can spiritualize. Seek advice, talk constantly to God about all your concerns. Start with your daily problems, your social problems, your family situations. There are many problems for which you need good advice.
Pentecost endowed mortal man with the power to forgive personal injuries, to keep sweet in the midst of the gravest injustice, to remain unmoved in the face of appalling danger, and to challenge the evils of hate and anger by the fearless acts of love and forbearance.
Our planet has passed through the ravages of great and destructive wars in its history. All participants in these terrible struggles met with defeat. There was but one victor; there was only one who came out of these embittered struggles with an enhanced reputation — that was Jesus of Nazareth and his gospel of overcoming evil with good. The secret of a better civilization is bound up in the Master’s teachings of the brotherhood of man, the good will of love and mutual trust.

Thank you for explaining the problem with the church that I suspected but couldn’t explain. It’s all about control. When the Catholic Church closed during COVID I thought it was odd because Mother Teresa and Princess Diana didn’t close down. They kept working. I still go to the church because of the family but I always express gratitude for my faith.
You write about the honest heart, something I have called the sincere heart. It shows we all are unique and see the same truth in slightly different ways. Through the years as I have been relating with God I felt that being sincere/honest with myself and with God was always important to the strength of our relationship. Which means that though most times I have loved and appreciated God, there have been times I disagreed with God, and challenged Him, and have been angry and hated Him, at which times, when I was ready, He has gently shown me my errors and helped me understand what He was doing.
The most striking was when I was at the absolute lowest point in my life. I didn't care at that time about being alive or dead. I happened to go one Sunday with some friends to visit a church. At one point everyone was standing and singing some hymns. We came to one, I don't know exactly which hymn, which was about God being in me. I started to sing it and then just stopped and sat down. I said to God I just can't, I just can't sing about wanting God to be in me because I was in so much pain inside that I didn't want God to be in me and feel that pain too.
And then I heard God's voice so clearly, there in that church full of people standing and signing and me shamefully sitting down and not signing, and He said, "That's okay, I'll wait." Oh my God, He loves us so so much. He never blames, He never punishes. His ways are so different from this world we have made which blames, and shames, and punishes all the time.
So the better we can see that and change our relations with other people to completely remove any urge to blame or shame or punish another person, that will go a long way to do our part to make the world a better place.
'Did God actually say'...'if you are like God you can do this'...'I can give you everything and make you complete'...
All temptations of the human heart-to be God like-to exhault and be lifted as like God.
I read, as I have read, all your writings and once emotion is removed I hold up to scripture.
I still see a hole in the 'doctrine'-a removing of one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism; a removing of Jesus as the Son of God, an absence of the sinful heart filled with pride, the need for redemption and reconcilliation, the lack of humility needed to worship someone so holy he blinds, burns, and purifies with his gaze-an absence of true Gospel grace, reverence and wonder associated with a bent knee to a holy God.
In the end days we will seem as holy, but lacking knowledge of the one true God.
In the end days we will love ourselves, exhaulting our knowledge and lacking truth.
In the end days we will act as though we worshipped God yet do not have the power of God.
yes-God IS love. Jesus IS love.
But combined with the Holy Spirit they are triune. They are one.
The entire Bible points to Jesus. Scripture, prophecy, all point to Jesus.
This is not fundamentalism. It is Bible 101. Know in whom you believe, know in whom you serve.
What was started at Pentecost will be rebirthed in the last days: "“‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams."
What is coming will be from the hand of God, but having discernment to recognize and be aware of anything that detracts from the one true savior is imperative in these last days...Why?
Because the great deceiver is coming and he will come as an angel of light.
We are to put on the whole armor of God.

I love your stories. You have a very rare and unique ability to illuminate topics in a way that has never been done. You’re exceptionally talented, creative, and insightful. Obviously, religion is touchy, but you’re not creating a new gospel. You’re shedding light on areas of the gospel that aren’t taught much. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commands.” That’s basically a “walk the walk”. I know so many of us have been searching for what we know we’ve been missing. Personally, I’ve found it in the Orthodox Church. They have the tradition and teaching from the apostles. What a lot of us don’t realize, is that before Jesus came, people worshipped fallen angels. The world was 100% different 2000 years ago. I’ve learned so much from The Lord of Spirits podcasts about the world before Christianity. But that was my journey to where I am now.
