White House Counsel John Dean also became one of the defining figures of the scandal. Although he was initially part of the cover-up, Dean later cooperated with investigators and testified against Nixon and other top officials. He served four months in prison for obstruction of justice. Charles Colson, Nixon’s hard-charging political operative known for his role in the administration’s “dirty tricks,” served seven months. G. Gordon Liddy, one of the principal masterminds of the Watergate break-in, served more than four years in prison, one of the longest sentences connected to the scandal. Howard Hunt, another key figure in organizing the break-in, served 33 months. Donald Segretti, involved in illegal campaign sabotage and political espionage, served four months for distributing unlawful campaign literature. Together, these sentences reflected the breadth of the criminal enterprise surrounding Nixon’s reelection effort.
In total, more than 40 administration officials and associates were indicted or convicted in connection with Watergate. Their crimes ranged from burglary and illegal campaign activities to conspiracy, perjury, and obstruction of justice. The scandal destroyed careers, shattered public trust in government, and forced the resignation of President Nixon in August 1974—the first and only resignation of a U.S. president. Watergate remains one of the clearest examples in American history of how concentrated political power, when shielded by secrecy and loyalty, can slide into corruption and lawlessness. The prison sentences handed down to so many of Nixon’s officials were not incidental details; they were proof that the scandal was systemic, not accidental, and that the abuse of public office had become embedded in the administration itself.

The Jewish Vote has historically been democrat. I've always found that incongruous along with the Hollywood and media bias toward conservatives.
The Republic has fallen and it can't get up.
